Nepal, July 29 -- The Parliamentary Hearing Committee of the Federal Parliament is set to conduct the hearing of proposed Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Man Bahadur Karki today (Wednesday). The committee's 11th meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:15 am.

The recommendation follows the Constitutional Council's decision on July 3 to nominate Karki as Chief Election Commissioner, along with Guru Prasad Wagle and Dr Rajiv Subba as election commissioners.

The committee will hear Karki after completing hearings and reviewing the work plans of the two proposed election commissioners, Wagle and Dr Subba, during Tuesday's meeting.
