Nepal, May 4 -- The Pokhara Metropolitan City (PMC) has issued a notice to remove structures built on land encroached upon that was originally allocated for a bus park in Prithvi Chowk, Pokhara.
Originally designated for this purpose fifty years ago, the land has drastically decreased from 205 ropani to 47 ropani due to a lack of proper management. The PMC's recent decision follows a meeting of its executive body, during which a 35-day notice was issued for the removal of encroached structures.
