Nepal, May 31 -- Prime Minister Balen Shah has urged opposition parties not to expect solutions to long-standing national problems within a short time, saying that issues unresolved for decades cannot be addressed in minutes. Responding to questions raised by opposition lawmakers in the House of Representatives on Sunday, Prime Minister Shah said the government is actively working on resolving the squatters' issue through multiple ministries.

"Even if it looks like they have been removed, they have been resettled elsewhere. Those who have no land elsewhere must be properly managed by the government. This is being worked on by two to three ministries. This cannot be rushed. It will take time," he said.
