Nepal, June 22 -- Prime Minister Balendra Shah visited the elephant breeding and training centre at Khorsor, Sauraha today and made an observation of the facility.

According to Manipuran Chaudhary, head of the breeding centre, PM Shah visited the training centre with his family.

There are currently nine foals and seven elephant calves at the training centre in Khorsor.

Prime Minister Shah, who is also a senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), is currently in Chitwan to attend the party's first national convention.
