Nepal, April 12 -- Prime Minister Balen Shah and members of the federal cabinet have made their property details public, as required by law.

The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers released the disclosures on Sunday in accordance with Section 50 of the Corruption Prevention Act, 2002.

According to the statement, Prime Minister Shah owns houses and land in Kathmandu and Dhanusha. He holds nine aanas of land in Kathmandu and 1.2 bighas of land in Dhanusha, along with additional nine bighas of land in Mahottari.

The disclosure also shows that Shah's wife possesses 190 tola of ancestral gold, silver and other jewelry.

He has Rs 14.6 million deposited in his bank account, with the source of income listed as earnings from ...
