Nepal, April 23 -- A jeep carrying pilgrims met with an accident in Pyuthan, with rescue operations currently underway.

According to Information Officer Hari Bhattarai of the District Police Office, Pyuthan, around 16-17 people were on board the vehicle. At least three passengers are reported to be in critical condition.

Police said efforts are ongoing to transport the injured to hospital, and further details are awaited.
