Nepal, March 13 -- The Department of Passports (DoP) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that passport distribution services may be disrupted for a few days during the transition period.

The DoP clarified that services could remain affected for up to a week as the old system is being replaced with a new one.

Issuing a notice, the DoP said passport services provided by District Administration Offices, Area Administration Offices, and Nepali diplomatic missions abroad may remain suspended for one to three days.
