Nepal, Sept. 26 -- The Panchase area of Kaski recorded the highest rainfall in the country, receiving 189 mm over the past 24 hours.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, rainfall measurements included 172 mm in Archale, Palpa; 170.8 mm in Bharse, Gulmi; 165.2 mm in Kuhun, Myagdi; and 161 mm in Darbang, Myagdi.

Monitoring stations reported rainfall in Bhajani and Dhangadhi Airport in Kailali, Beni in Myagdi, Karkineta in Parbat, Archale in Palpa, and Pachhmul in Syangja.

Meanwhile, water levels in various rivers and streams in Banke, Myagdi, Parbat, Lamjung, Chitwan and Bhojpur have approached the alert level.
