Nepal, June 11 -- Transparency of the tax system, policy stability and improvement of customs management regarding the customs clearance process of electric vehicles (EVs) were the main topics discussed in today's meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).PAC members emphasised the need to review those matters from the customs clearance of the EVs and changes in tax rates to the customs evaluation process. They gave various suggestions for customs management and improvement.

Aaren Rai said that people should be given clear information about the tax provisions on electric vehicles.
