Nepal, July 17 -- CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has said efforts are still being made to politically isolate his party, but insisted that the UML remains strong and capable of moving forward on its own.

Speaking at the launch of the new version of the party's website and mobile application at the UML central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur, on Friday, Oli acknowledged that the party had faced setbacks but rejected suggestions that it had been weakened beyond recovery.

"We have suffered setbacks, but we have not been finished. Today's program sends a message that we will renew ourselves and move forward," he said. "Attempts to isolate us are still continuing."
