Nepal, April 14 -- Night bus services have come into operation in Kathmandu starting today.

Sajha Yatayat announced that it will operate buses on two routes from 8 PM to 11 PM to make public transportation in the Kathmandu Valley more organized and accessible. The night service will run on north-south and east-west corridors.

For this service, Sajha Yatayat will deploy seven electric buses. On the east-west route, four buses will operate from the Tribhuvan International Airport through Sinamangal, Tinkune, Baneshwor, Maitighar, Sundhara, Tripureshwor, Teku, Kalimati and Kalanki to Thankot. On the return journey, buses will run from Thankot via Kalanki, Kalimati, Tripureshwor, NAC Jamal, Baneshwor and back to the Airport.
