Nepal, Sept. 11 -- Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel has said that the government is preparing to introduce a new curriculum from the next academic session.

Speaking at a programme in Janakpurdham on Thursday, Minister Pokharel said groundwork to revise the curriculum is underway in line with the changing needs and demands of students.

Stating that suggestions are being collected from stakeholders across the country through a task force, he said a comprehensive revision of the existing curriculum is necessary. He added that the new curriculum would be implemented from the next academic session after incorporating the recommendations received.
