Nepal, April 27 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Monday increased marginally by 7.73 points to close at 2,796.43 points.

The secondary market opened at 2,788.7 points and spiked the day's high at 2,806.63 points in the first 24 minutes. However, the market had a straight fall to 2,789.67 points in the next 27 minutes. For the next one hour, the market almost remained stable, while it followed an upward trend in another one hour. The market shed around four points in the last one hour before it closed for the day.

Five sectors were the losers, as trading declined by the largest of 53.40 points. Of the eight gainers, manufacturing and processing surged by the largest of 178.89 points.
