Nepal, Sept. 25 -- Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal has urged Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming to support the reconstruction of flood-damaged infrastructure in Rasuwa and the reopening of the Rasuwagadhi-Kerung border crossing.

During a courtesy meeting at Singha Durbar on Friday, Minister Lamsal requested Chinese support for restoring infrastructure damaged by the Bhotekoshi flood and resuming operations at the major border crossing.

Lamsal said around 600,000 Nepali citizens need reliable access to the state and safe and convenient movement. He also called for coordination from the Chinese government to ensure the effective operation of the Korala and Tatopani border crossings.
