Nepal, Oct. 6 -- The government is in regular talks with China to resume operations at the Tatopani border crossing, Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal said on Tuesday.

Speaking at a meeting of the Parliamentary Special Committee on the Impact of Climate Change in the Himalayas, Climate Justice and the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli Disaster at Singha Durbar, Lamsal said Nepal has already completed the necessary work to bring the crossing back into operation.

"Nepal has no problems on our side at Tatopani. We have already restored the road and are ready to operate the crossing. We are in regular communication with the Chinese side, with discussions taking place almost daily," Lamsal said.
