Nepal, Sept. 29 -- The Nepali Congress (NC) will inaugurate its 15th General Convention at Tundikhel in Kathmandu on October 4.

According to a press release issued by the party on Tuesday, the opening ceremony will begin at 2 PM.

The party said ward, rural municipality and municipality-level conventions have been completed, while provincial and House of Representatives constituency-level conventions are underway.

Some constituency-level conventions and the selection of general convention representatives remain pending in several areas due to difficult conditions caused by heavy rainfall, according to the release.
