Nepal, May 20 -- Nepali Congress lawmaker Khadak Bahadur Budha has called for timely management of people affected by natural disasters and genuine landless squatters.

Speaking during the special hour of Wednesday's meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), Budha stressed the need for urgent state intervention to address the challenges faced by disaster-affected citizens and landless families.

He also urged the government to expedite reconstruction of damaged infrastructure, including roads, drinking water systems, and other development projects affected by natural calamities.
