NC decides to begin preparation for 15th General Convention
Nepal, Aug. 10 -- The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to begin preparations for its 15th General Convention.
The party's Central Working Committee meeting, which began on Sunday at the party's central office in Sanepa, decided to intensify internal preparations for the convention, party spokesperson Devraj Chalise said.
The meeting also decided to draw the government's attention to contemporary issues affecting people's livelihoods, according to Chalise.
The party expressed serious concern over the shortage of cooking gas in the market, VAT imposed on electricity tariffs, an acute shortage of chemical fertilisers for farmers and rising prices.
