Nepal, Oct. 14 -- National transmission line has been extended to Hatiya of Bhotekhola rural municipality-3, the northern and remote area of Sankhuwasabha.

With the expansion of the transmission line, reliable electricity service has been ensured to locals. Earlier, the locals of the area had been using electricity produced from micro hydropower projects and power is now being supplied at the area through national transmission line, according to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.

A press release issued by the Ministry reads that after the expansion of the national grid, the power is being supplied by installing three-phase meter at Bhotkhola rural municipality office and Hatiya-based hospital
