National Assembly members urge govt to prevent shortage of essentials during festivals
Nepal, Sept. 16 -- National Assembly members have urged the government to ensure adequate supplies of essential goods, including cooking gas, as major festivals such as Dashain and Tihar approach.
National Assembly member Narayandatta Bhatta said problems such as the shortage of cooking gas and rising prices of essential goods had not been resolved despite the festivals drawing closer.
Member Bishnubahadur Bishwakarma said Prime Minister Balendra Shah, who is preparing to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, should raise the issue of climate justice.
