Nepal, Sept. 24 -- National Assembly (NA) members have drawn attention of the government on contemporary issues in today's meeting of the upper house of the federal parliament.

Speaking in the meeting, Khamma Bahadur Khati of the Nepali Congress demanded representation of the National Assembly in the special parliamentary committee formed by the House of Representatives for Bhotekoshi flood disaster management.

He stressed that the incumbent government should carry out activities with new concept and style as per the people's aspirations.

He underlined that the people have expected much from the government, adding the incumbent government should work as per the commitment made before the people.
