Lawmaker Ashika Tamang objects to "monkeys should be killed" remark in HoR
Nepal, May 18 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party lawmaker Ashika Tamang objected in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday over a remark that "monkeys should be killed," demanding that it be expunged from the parliamentary record.
During the meeting, Shram Sanskriti Party lawmaker Dhruv Raj Rai reportedly said that monkeys causing problems should be killed.
Tamang strongly objected to the statement, calling it unacceptable and demanding that it be completely removed from HoR records.
