Nepal, June 5 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has arrived in Kathmandu after a five-day visit to India, during which he held meetings with several senior Indian leaders, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi, Lamichhane was seen off by Nepal's senior diplomat in India, Dr. Surendra Thapa, and BJP Foreign Affairs Department chief Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale.

The visit, which began on Monday at the invitation of BJP President Nitin Nabin, included a courtesy meeting with Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday. Earlier, Lamichhane met Indian Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and other senior BJP leaders.
