Kavrepalanchok announce Rs 3.6 million aid for Rasuwa flood victims
Nepal, Aug. 30 -- Various local bodies and organisations in Kavrepalanchok have announced a total of Rs 3.6 million in assistance for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of people affected by the Rasuwa floods.
Chaurideurali Rural Municipality and Roshi Rural Municipality will each provide Rs 1 million, while the Nepali Congress Kavrepalanchok District Committee will contribute Rs 1.1 million and Achyutananda Jyotish Ayurveda Pharmacy in Banepa will provide Rs 500,000.
Chaurideurali decided to contribute the amount from allowances of elected representatives and employees as well as its disaster management fund to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund. Roshi Rural Municipality will contribute Rs 970,700 from seven days' allowances...
