Nepal, May 5 -- Janamat Party has decided to withdraw from the Madhesh provincial government.

The decision was taken by a majority vote during the party's parliamentary meeting held on April 24, following which the party formally exited the provincial government.

The party said the move was taken in the interest of both the organization and the public. According to the secretariat of party Chair CK Raut, dissatisfaction had been growing among party workers and the general public at the district level due to the functioning style of the provincial government.
