HoR meeting: Lawmakers draw govt's attention on contemporary issues
Nepal, May 13 -- Nepali Congress lawmaker Nishcal Rai has urged the Speaker to ensure the presence of the Prime Minister in the Parliament.
In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, lawmaker Rai asked Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal to call Prime Minister Balendra Shah in the House as the PM has remained absent in today's discussions of policies and programmes unveiled by the government for the coming fiscal year.
He said, "Call the Prime Minister to the House, even issuing a ruling immediately."
Similarly, Indira Ranamagar of the Rastriya Swatantra Party requested the government to support the treatment of Dinesh Parajuli injured in an elephant attack.
