Nepal, July 27 -- There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in the hilly and Tarai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces today.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thunder and lightning at many places in the plains of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces and at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces.

The weather today will remain generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly areas of the country and generally cloudy in the Tarai areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces. Partially cloudy in the Terai areas of Madhesh and Koshi Provinces.
