Govt urged to prioritise 'Made in Nepal' products at TIA
Nepal, May 26 -- Lawmaker Anushka Shrestha has called on the government to ensure stronger representation of "Made in Nepal" products at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), saying the airport should better reflect the country's national identity.
Speaking during the zero hour in the House of Representatives, she said international airports around the world serve as showcases of national culture and identity, but Nepal's main international gateway still lacks adequate promotion of local products.
