Nepal, Oct. 27 -- The government has invited nominations of qualified candidates for appointment as six members of the National Council for Science, Technology and Innovation.

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation issued a notice requesting individuals and institutions to recommend candidates who have contributed to science, technology, research and innovation.

According to the ministry, the National Council for Science, Technology and Innovation is provided for under the Science, Technology and Innovation Ordinance, 2083, issued pursuant to Article 114 of the Constitution of Nepal.
