Nepal, April 7 -- The order of precedence of ministers has been reshuffled. President Ram Chandra Paudel revised the ranking of ministers on Tuesday on the recommendation of Prime Minister Balen Shah.
Following the change, Home Minister Sudan Gurung has moved down from third to fifth position. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is now ranked third, while Energy Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has been placed fourth. Previously, Khanal held the fourth position and Shrestha the sixth.
Similarly, Physical Infrastructure Minister Sunil Lamsal has been moved from fourth to sixth place. Law Minister Sobita Gautam has climbed from 12th to seventh, while Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Sita Wadi has moved up from 15th to eighth.
