Nepal, April 27 -- The government has directed authorities to relocate students from squatter settlements to nearby schools to ensure continuity in their education.
Minister for Education, Science and Technology Sasmit Pokharel issued a six-point circular focusing on the safety and facilitation of students affected by the relocation of informal settlements.
Following the directive, the Education and Human Resource Development Center (EHDC) has instructed local governments to effectively manage examinations, coordinate school adjustments in affected areas and ensure smooth transitions for displaced students.
