Nepal, Sept. 30 -- The government has developed an "Automatic Surveyor Deputation System" to automate the assignment of surveyors for assessing losses related to insurance claims.

The system aims to make the process of assigning insurance surveyors more transparent and better governed.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, data on all insurance surveyors have already been entered into the system. It will select surveyors based on factors such as expertise, availability, geographical location, seniority and existing workload.
