Nepal, March 24 -- Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Thapa has congratulated the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) for securing a majority in the House of Representatives, while pledging the party's full support to the incoming government.

Speaking at a central committee meeting on Tuesday, Thapa publicly extended his congratulations to the RSP for the first time since the election. "I would like to congratulate the RSP and its leadership for achieving a comfortable majority," he said.
