Nepal, Sept. 22 -- Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal has held talks with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.

During the bilateral meeting held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly at UN headquarters in New York, the two ministers discussed various aspects of Nepal-Poland relations, according to Khanal's secretariat.

Both sides exchanged views on further strengthening the growing relationship between the two countries. They also discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The ministers stressed the need to make cooperation between Nepal and Poland more effective at the United Nations and other multilateral forums.
