Five-year-old rescued alive after three days under flood debris
Nepal, Aug. 31 -- A five-year-old girl who remained buried under flood debris in Timure, Rasuwa, for three days has been rescued alive and is undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu.
Manisha Uchaimagar was swept away along with her house by the Bhotekoshi flood on Wednesday morning. Her father, Lok Bahadur, rushed home after witnessing the flood, but the current carried away his daughter and their house. He survived by fleeing to safety, while Manisha's mother, Geeta, escaped from her workplace.
