Nepal, Sept. 17 -- Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle left for New Delhi at 7:35 am today for a three-day official visit at the invitation of the Indian government, with post-disaster reconstruction and expanding Nepal-India cooperation on the agenda.

Wagle's visit was approved by the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday.

Leading a six-member delegation comprising officials from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wagle will hold a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Nirmala Sitharaman at 5 pm on Thursday, according to his secretariat.

He is also scheduled to meet Indian Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar on Friday.
