Nepal, April 21 -- Nepali Congress(NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that the debate over holding a special general convention within the party has now come to an end.

Speaking at an election review meeting organized by the Nepali Congress in Hetauda on Tuesday, he stressed that with the court's verdict in place, the party should unite and focus on preparations for the 15th general convention.

Calling for an end to factionalism, Thapa said the party must move forward by embracing the new generation and bringing back supporters who had drifted away.
