Nepal, March 16 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Monday declines 26.07 points to close at 2,798.83 points.

NEPSE opened at 2,824.90 points added around three points in the pre-opening session. The market however went through gradual decline almost throughout the trading hours. The index fell to the day's low at 2,793.69 points at the last 24 minutes, while it recovered around five points in the remaining period before the market closed for the day.

Sector-wise, manufacturing and process was the only group that gained 24.76 points in its market index. Of the 12 losers, life insurance plunged by the largest of 127.68 points.
