Nepal, April 8 -- A corruption case has been filed at the Special Court against Dhundiraj Dahal, an accounts officer at Bir Hospital, after he was previously arrested with bribe money.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) lodged the case on Wednesday, claiming Dahal committed an offense under Section 3 (1) of the Corruption Prevention Act, 2002.

According to CIAA Assistant Spokesperson Ganesh Bahadur Adhikari, the commission has sought the recovery of Rs 93,850 from Dahal as the amount involved in the corruption case. The commission has also demanded imprisonment in accordance with the same legal provision.
