Nepal, July 27 -- Following the implementation of the government's two-day weekly holiday policy, domestic and foreign tourist arrivals at major destinations in Chitwan have increased, tourism entrepreneurs say. They have expressed optimism over the rise in visitors despite the ongoing monsoon season.

Businesses in Sauraha, Patihani, Jagatpur, Meghauli and other major tourist areas have reported an increase in tourist arrivals compared to the same period last year. Along with domestic tourists, they have also witnessed a significant rise in the number of Chinese and Indian visitors.
