Nepal, May 11 -- A meeting of the Council of Ministers is currently underway.

The cabinet meeting is being held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, according to Minister for Education, Science and Technology and government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel.

The cabinet is expected to endorse the government's policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year. President Ramchandra Paudel is scheduled to present the policies and programs at a joint sitting of the Federal Parliament at 4:00 PM later today.
