Nepal, July 2 -- The government has appointed Hikmat Bahadur Rawal as the general manager of the Gorkhapatra Corporation.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held in Singha Durbar on Thursday took this decision. Rawal is a resident of Kailali district, according to government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel.

The government also decided to appoint Devraj Dhungana from Morang district as the executive director of Security Printing Centre. Eight additional inspectors general (AIG) of Nepal Police have been transferred by the government.
