Nepal, Sept. 8 -- The United States government has appointed Megan Bouldin as Charge d'Affaires in Nepal for the next few months to support ongoing flood response and recovery efforts, with a particular focus on assisting US citizens affected by the devastating Rasuwa floods.

According to the US Embassy in Kathmandu, Bouldin will provide surge support as Charge d'Affaires and work alongside Deputy Chief of Mission Scott Urbom to lead the embassy's efforts in supporting Nepal's relief and recovery operations.
