Nepal, March 25 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Balen Shah is set to take the oath of office and secrecy as prime minister on Friday at 12:34 PM.
Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony include a mix of religious and cultural rituals. According to officials, seven Brahmin priests will perform shankhanaad (conch blowing), while 108 Batuks will recite swastibachan. Additionally, 107 Buddhist Lamas are expected to deliver Mangal Bachan during the ceremony.
Shah, the RSP's prime ministerial candidate, is set to assume office following the party's majority win in the recent House of Representatives (HoR) election.
