100 buses, 70 microbuses and 300 tippers remain missing with Bhotekoshi-Trishuli floods
Nepal, Aug. 31 -- A large number of public and freight vehicles have been damaged and have remained missing in districts like Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading due to Bhotekoshi-Trishuli floods.
According to Suban Giri, president of the National Federation of Nepali Transport Entrepreneurs (NFNTE) of Bagmati Province, the preliminary estimation shows that around 100 buses, more than 70 microbuses and around 300 freight tippers are disconnected. Giri said the actual number could be larger than the estimated ones.
