Nigeria, June 23 -- The United States Mission in Nigeria has opened applications for the 2026 EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Programme (OFP), a scheme designed to help academically outstanding but financially disadvantaged Nigerian students pursue higher education in the United States.

In an announcement published on the US Embassy website, EducationUSA said the programme targets high-achieving students with strong academic records, leadership potential, and a commitment to community service who may lack the financial resources needed to complete the US university application process.
