Nigeria, Sept. 21 -- SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc has appointed Michael Chukwu as an Independent Non-Executive Director, while TAC Professional Services has been appointed as the company's new external auditor.

The insurance company disclosed the changes in separate notices signed by its secretary, Taiwo Kuku, and filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited, on Monday.

Mr Chukwu's appointment took effect in September 2026, according to the company.

SUNU Assurances described him as a seasoned financial executive, chartered accountant and private equity leader with over four decades of experience spanning banking, taxation, corporate governance and investment management.
