Nigeria, Sept. 13 -- Soldiers have arrested three suspects following the killing of a 17-year-old boy, Peter Gyang, at Kafi-Abu village in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The arrests followed a military operation on Saturday, after troops received intelligence on the killing and moved to a settlement believed to have been used by the attackers.

Mr Gyang was killed by unidentified assailants in an isolated attack at Kafi-Abu, according to the military.

Following the incident, troops of Sector 4, Sub-Sector 41, raided Kedawa, a settlement identified as a possible route used by the attackers to access Kafi-Abu and escape after the attack.
