Nigeria, Sept. 16 -- Vice President Kashim Shettima is scheduled to be in attendance on Wednesday as Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is turbanned as Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate at the state capital.

The capital city is alr3ady bustling with activities across the metropolis.

Billboards, banners, and influx of guests from the airport and major highways into the town have been observed in various parks.

Governor AbdulRazaq will be turbaned by the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, at the palace at 1 p.m.

Mr AbdulRazaq will become the first person to hold the title, which makes him the Defence Minister of Ilorin Emirate.
