Nigeria, Oct. 11 -- Former Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has refuted a report that a Nigerian court recently issued an arrest warrant against him.

A report recently surfaced online suggesting that a "senior magistrate's court" in Abuja issued a ban-the-arrest warrant in September against Mr Okorocha, former senator Ifeanyi Araraume, and two others.

The report claimed the order followed allegations that Messrs Okorocha and Araraume forged the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial results for Imo West District.
